Fractionated coconut oil as a light base oil: a clear, thin and practically odourless oil that stays liquid at room temperature.
Unlike solid coconut fat, fractionated coconut oil stays liquid even in winter, so it can be measured out straight from the bottle. It absorbs quickly, does not feel heavy and has no strong smell of its own, which is exactly why it is the usual base for diluting essential oils before applying them to the skin.
How to use it
