Tea Tree smells sharp, green and woody, clear and very distinctive: one of the best-known scent characters of all.
Steam-distilled from the leaves of the Australian tea tree. The scent is sharp and herbal with a slightly musty, woody depth, and cannot be mistaken for anything else. It becomes noticeably rounder once you combine it with Lemon or Lavender.
How to use it
- In the diffuser: 2–3 drops, lovely with Lemon or Lavender.
- A few drops in the mop water for the bathroom and tiles.
- Diluted on the skin: 1 drop in a teaspoon of fractionated coconut oil.
- One drop on a cotton pad in the laundry basket or the gym bag.
Good to know
- 15 mL in a dark glass bottle with dropper insert: at around 20 drops per millilitre, that is about 300 drops.
- Never apply undiluted to the skin; as a rule of thumb, 1–2 drops in a teaspoon of carrier oil.
- Keep away from eyes, ears and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children.
