Roman Chamomile smells sweet and herbal with a distinctly apple-like note: softer than anything else on the shelf.
Steam-distilled from the flower heads of Roman chamomile. The scent has little to do with chamomile tea: it is fruitier, lighter and brighter. A delicate oil that quickly gets lost in blends if you dose too little.
How to use it
- In the diffuser: 2–3 drops, lovely with Lavender or Wild Orange.
- Diluted on the skin: 1 drop in a teaspoon of fractionated coconut oil.
- Stir one drop into a neutral body oil.
- One drop on a cotton pad in the laundry drawer.
Good to know
- 5 mL in a dark glass bottle with dropper insert: at around 20 drops per millilitre, that is about 100 drops.
- Never apply undiluted to the skin; as a rule of thumb, 1–2 drops in a teaspoon of carrier oil.
- Keep away from eyes, ears and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children.
