Hawaiian Sandalwood smells creamy soft: milky, warm woody and without any sharpness.
Steam-distilled from the wood of Hawaiian sandalwood trees. The scent is more velvety and a little sweeter than classic sandalwood and clings for a very long time, on the skin as in the room. A typical base note that carries other oils instead of drowning them out.
How to use it
- In the diffuser: 2–3 drops, lovely with Frankincense or Wild Orange.
- As a personal scent: 1 drop in a teaspoon of fractionated coconut oil, on the wrist or neck.
- One drop in a neutral body or face oil.
- As a base note in your own blends with citrus oils.
Good to know
- 5 mL in a dark glass bottle with dropper insert: at around 20 drops per millilitre, that is about 100 drops.
- Never apply undiluted to the skin; as a rule of thumb, 1–2 drops in a teaspoon of carrier oil.
- Keep away from eyes, ears and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children.
