Black Spruce smells like a conifer forest in winter: resinous, green and dry, with a cool clarity.
Steam-distilled from black spruce needles. The scent is more serious and resinous than the lighter fir oils: closer to the trunk than to the young shoot. It lingers in the room and brightens nicely with citrus.
How to use it
- In the diffuser: 3–4 drops, very good with Wild Orange or Lemon.
- One drop on a pine cone or a piece of wood in the decorative bowl.
- Diluted on the skin: 1 drop in a teaspoon of fractionated coconut oil.
- A few drops with a spoonful of carrier oil in the bath water.
Good to know
- 5 mL in a dark glass bottle with dropper insert: at around 20 drops per millilitre, that is about 100 drops.
- Never apply undiluted to the skin; as a rule of thumb, 1–2 drops in a teaspoon of carrier oil.
- Keep away from eyes, ears and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children.
